View the beautiful coast around the Isle of Skye and all the surrounding Islands with plenty of wildlife as well as the enjoyment of being on our spacious powerful top-of-the-range rib.
Our extended up to 2.45 hour tour takes in some of the sites of our Maidens wildlife trip but has the added time of continuing out further into the inner Hebridean Sea, roughly around 5 miles out. The deeper water and tidal stream often give whales, gannets, gulls, and dolphins the perfect area to feed in the summer months. After we’ll head up to the reefs of An Dubh Sgeir where we often spot a seal colony.
The extra time gives us plenty of opportunities to spot some Dolphins in their preferred area and hopefully many Minke whales too. Very rarely we can witness John Coe and Aqaurise, the west coast pod of Orcas, or a humpback whale!
The area of land is one of the most stunning points on Skye, you will not be disappointed with the sheer cliffs and views onto Rhum, Canna, Outer Hebrides, Talisker beach, and the Cuillin range. Our evening trips provide arguably the best sunset views in Scotland on the right day!
We do require guests come prepared with warm waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear although Waterproof clothing will be provided an extra layer is a great idea. A camera, packed lunch/snacks and water for the day is recommended. Whilst the weather will be monitored and we will only run the trip if the skipper deems the conditions safe, we are in the Atlantic Ocean & we may encounter some bumps along the way, guests that may suffer from seasickness should come prepared. Times are not exact and may vary slightly.
